Few people have been able to reach the levels of success that Logan Paul and Jake Paul have been able to achieve. Whether it’s boxing, podcast, YouTube, or any other industry, the Paul brothers have left their mark in more ways than one. After dominating the world of social media and YouTube, Logan Paul stepped inside a WWE ring and was instantly a big hit amongst fans and critics. That being said, Becky Lynch doesn’t really get the hype.
Logan Paul’s match against Roman Reigns was regarded by some as one of the best matches of the year. Logan also had one of the most talked-about moments at the Royal Rumble match this year when he collided with Ricochet.
Despite being in the business for a short time, Logan Paul is already set to wrestle his second WrestleMania match against Seth Rollins, who has been vocal about Logan Paul’s involvement in the wrestling business. It now seems that his wife Becky Lynch also echoes the same sentiment.
Speaking on E! The Rundown, Becky Lynch stated that she didn’t know who Logan Paul and Jake Paul were before they started boxing. She also wondered why the fans loved them so much.
“God No. No. I didn’t know who these Paul brothers were until they started doing boxing and I was like, why do people love these people?”
Becky Lynch further added that she isn’t fond of influencers turning wrestlers and wrestling two or three matches in a year while she works 52 weeks a year. After all, she gave her all for the pro wrestling business, and Logan Paul entered the situation with zero experience and a ton of hype.
“I don’t love it. What’s he doing, two or three matches a year. I work 52 weeks a year. I take my baby on the road. You know how troubling that is. You know the effort that takes. To do that 52 weeks a year because I love this and because we have to make the towns and the fans come to see us every single week, three, four, five times a week. We make the towns and do that. To come in and just get the big matches and big stadiums when you haven’t put in the work. I don’t love that.”
Although Becky Lynch made some valuable points, it’s hard to argue that Logan Paul has shown that he can handle himself inside a WWE ring. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we bring you similar stories.
