The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) earned their rightful place among the elite tag teams in the world due to their incredible in-ring psychology and storytelling ability. The brothers also made record with most reigns as the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions.
Unfortunately, Jay Briscoe lost his life in a tragic car accident on January 17, 2023. His two daughters survived the car wreck and are currently on their road to recovery. Tony Khan fought hard to bring Mark Briscoe to AEW in the wake of his brother’s tragic passing.
Mark Briscoe recently appeared on the “Hey! (EW)” podcast with RJ City to talk about many things. The former ROH World Tag Team Champion shared a hilarious story about he how he lost his false teeth to his pet pitbull in his home a couple of years ago.
“I do not [have false teeth], I did until I met my wife. She said, ‘I don’t care if you wear your teeth or not, I kinda think you look better without your teeth!’
“It might’ve been the very same day… I was taking a nap in my recliner, teeth on the armrest, I wake up and the teeth are gone. The pitbull ate my teeth!”
For those wondering, the story of Mark Briscoe losing his real teeth is brutal to say the least. The younger Briscoe lost his teeth during a tag team match alongside his brother Jay way back in 2006, after Jay inadvertently hit his brother with a steel chair to the face.
Mark Briscoe is set to challenge Samoa Joe for the ROH World Television Championship at the upcoming Supercard of Honor pay-per-view event. Click here to read the card for the March 31st show.
