Action Andretti is one of the most exciting newcomers in AEW. The 25-year-old has already competed on Dynamite and Rampage, in addition to being regularly featured on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation. The young star recently suffered an injury scare that worried a lot of fans. Fortunately, we have good news on Andretti’s health.
Action Andretti pinned Chris Jericho in one of the biggest upsets in AEW history on the December 14, 2022, episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite. It was then revealed that AEW had signed Andretti to a contract months ago. The feud between Andretti and Jericho ended at AEW Revolution.
Andretti took to Twitter on Saturday to provide an update on his health following a potential injury during a match with Slim J on AEW’s Dark and Dark Elevation tapings last night. The match was immediately stopped due to a potential concussion on Andretti’s part.
To anyone wondering, I did not suffer any injuries yesterday at the dark tapings in Orlando and am 100% healthy!
I want to thank the AEW medical team and the rest of the AEW staff for taking the proper safety precautions to ensure that I was ok and [..] had no serious injuries.
Action Andretti’s last televised match in AEW transpired against Sammy Guevara on the March 8, 2023, Rampage taping. Unfortunately for Andretti, he failed to defeat The Spanish God.
Do you think AEW Andretti should tone it down inside the squared circle? What feud do you want the young star to compete in next on AEW television? Sound off in the comments!
