Rey Mysterio Finally Accepts Dominik Mysterio’s Challenge For WWE WrestleMania 39

Dominik Mysterio has been pushing Rey Mysterio to lay his hands on him for weeks now. Tonight, ex-con Dom finally got his wish as Rey unloaded a jab on his son with just eight days away from WrestleMania 39.

Rey Mysterio took on LA Knight in singles competition on WWE SmackDown this week. Rey’s wife and daughter were at ringside to watch the action. The soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer was distracted by the arrival of Dominik Mysterio.

Dom even interfered during the match and that led to Knight picking up a rare win against the legendary luchadore. After the match, Dom once against attempted to lure Rey into hitting him.

Rey left the ring without saying a word. Dom focused his attention on his mother and sister in the crowd. Dom called his mother “deadbeat” and said she was responsible for Rey abandoning Dom.

Dom’s words pushed Rey to his limits and he returned to flatten Dom with a punch. Rey also accepted Dom’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania 39 to a huge pop from the crowd in attendance.
