Miro went to AEW for better opportunities for himself and for some time, that is exactly what he got when Miro became the TNT Champion. That said, his good times in AEW didn’t last long and was eventually relegated to a long hiatus from the company. While he remains absent from AEW, Miro has landed a role in a new HBO Max project.
Miro has not been seen in AEW since All Out, and he has not even competed on Dynamite for several months. This is a huge cause of concern for many fans, as they feel Miro is simply being wasted entirely in the company and deserves better.
As previously reported, Miro returned to Bulgaria a while ago. While he is staying at home, that does not mean Miro has been sitting idle and doing nothing with his excess time.
The Bulgarian Brute took to Twitter and officially announced that he is a voice actor in a new HBO Max animated project called ‘Yellowbird.” Miro added that it is near and dear to his heart.
I’m very honored to be a voice actor in a very special
@HBOMAXanimated short called Yellowbird. It’s a project very near to my heart, available to stream today in the “Only You” collection.
There is also the belief that Tony Khan might feel pushing Miro might be a waste. The former Rusev wants to win the AEW World Title in the future. Regardless, we’ll have to see what the future holds for Miro when it comes to his status in AEW.
