WWE is fast-paced on the road to WrestleMania 39 with the biggest show for the company drawing closer. With all WWE superstars looking to secure a major spot at the Show of Shows with only one week left before they reach Hollywood, things are looking to be interesting for this week’s upcoming SmackDown with two new segments added for the show.
The former Honorary Uce Sami Zayn will be making an appearance on ‘The Kevin Owens Show’ hosted by his best friend KO. The duo is set to challenge The Usos for the tag team titles at WrestleMania 39.
Elsewhere, this explosive week on SmackDown will see Gunther, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre will come together at once. The trio will sign the contract for their triple threat match at Mania with Gunther’s Intercontinental title at stake.
Apart from these two new segments, the entire Mysterio family will be present on SmackDown. In addition to Dominik Mysterio trying to antagonize the family, Rey Mysterio will compete against LA Knight.
Finally, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is set to compete on SmackDown after many years. Rhodes is scheduled to compete against Imperium member Ludwig Kaiser. Here is the official statement released by WWE.
