Jeff Jarrett has been an asset to every promotion he has been associated with, and he also has an impressive resume when it comes to in-ring competition. However, the most interesting part of Jarrett’s gimmick was his guitars, which recently revealed an interesting fact regarding it.

The wrestling business has seen many superstars, past and present, who made their guitar a part of their onscreen personas, such as the Honky Tonk Man and Elias in WWE. However, it can be said that Jeff Jarrett has been the most popular figure in that aspect.

Jeff Jarrett carrying, and smashing, his guitar over opponents has been a key factor of his gimmick, something he continues to do to this day. Moreover, Jarrett has carried the guitar almost every night in his 36-year career.

Double J has broken countless guitars in his career. During a recent interview with the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Jeff Jarrett revealed that he has not spent a single penny on guitars over the years.

“Of my own personal money? $0. It’s always a company expense, but I’ve owned companies and other [stuff]. I can tell you that the WCW guitars were a lot more expensive than the regular ones.”

Moreover, Jeff Jarrett was further questioned if he had learned to play the instrument in these years of carrying it around with him.

“Absolutely. Good? That’s a debate.”

Jeff Jarrett is currently working with Tony Khan’s AEW, both as a backstage personnel and onscreen performer. With the former WWE Intercontinental champion taking over an important behind-the-scenes role in AEW, we will have to wait and see how he revamps the product for the better in the year 2023.
