WWE can offer people a lot of money if it will pay off for them. A YouTuber recently told quite a story about rejecting a massive WWE offer, but there is a lot of cap in that tale.
Lele Pons, who is a YouTuber and social media influencer, spoke about WWE the other day. She said that the company offered her $20 million to sign with them for an onscreen role, but that figure is way out of any believable number.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Lele Pons was not telling the truth about that. After trying to confirm this story with a source in WWE, they outright rejected the idea that WWE would offer her anywhere close to that dollar amount.
One source within WWE said “that’s generous of us.” This number would be well above anything that Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns have ever received. It was also the number Floyd Mayweather claimed WWE paid him for his WrestleMania 2008 appearance, but the number was actually nowhere near that.
It was also noted that Lele Pons might have meant $20,000,000 in Venezuelan currency, which is still over 825k USD. The outlet was told that “is still nowhere near what WWE would have offered if they were interested in her.”
WWE has a lot of money to offer people who would bring value to the company. There is no truth to any claim that Lele Pons was offered $20 million US dollars for her services.
What’s your take on this lie about WWE’s offer? Do you think they offered her any kind of deal? Sound off in the comments!
