Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are undoubtedly one of the best tag teams in all of professional wrestling right now. That being said, both of them have suffered injuries over the years. It seems Harwood underwent a medical procedure recently as well.
The exciting news of a career vs title match between the newly returned FTR and The Gunn’s may have to be put on hold as one-half of the Top Guys may still be battling some health issues.
In a recent post on Twitter, Dax Harwood shared a video of himself undergoing a medical procedure to get liquid cartilage injected into his knee by AEW’s Doc Sampson. It doesn’t seem like this situation worries the Top Guy much.
No cartilage on the knee. Liquid cartilage to the rescue. Thank you @DocSampson13
It is worth noting that Dax Harwood has a somewhat tumultuous history with knee injuries, especially with regards to his right knee. He famously tore his ACL in 2002, and in a recent social media post, he revealed that much of his current knee problems stem from a surgery he underwent in 2004. During the procedure, a doctor accidentally left a pants button inside his knee, which caused further cartilage damage and has led to ongoing issues.
Given his history with knee injuries, it is understandable that fans may be concerned about Dax’s recent injection. However, many are hopeful that the treatment will help alleviate some of his pain and allow him to continue performing at the high level that he and FTR are known for.
Despite any setbacks that they may face, FTR remains one of the most dominant and exciting tag teams in professional wrestling today. Whether they continue their career in AEW or cross over to WWE in the future, there is no doubt that they will continue to deliver unforgettable matches and leave their mark on the industry. We’ll have to see what will become of FTR in the end.
