Saraya made her heroic in-return at AEW Grand Slam in September 2022. Formerly known as Paige during her popular run at WWE, she established herself as a prominent female competitor and become the youngest WWE Divas Champion. Eventually, her run was cut short due to a career-threatening injury, and she was forced to retire in 2019. Recently, the former NXT Women’s Champion praised her former colleague Alicia Fox for being a safe work in the industry.
Alicia Fox had a lengthy run in WWE for over a decade, and she was popular for her foxy and crazy persona mixed with the unorthodox style of wrestling. She majorly worked as a heel in WWE and even captured the Divas Championship on one occasion, becoming the first African-American woman to win the title.
Many fans and critics believe that Alicia Fox is underrated, and does not get the recognition that she deserves. The statement was supported by Saraya as well when she tweeted that the “Foxy One” doesn’t get the flowers that she deserves in pro wrestling.
