Maki Itoh Says The Magic Is Gone If She Appears For AEW Too Often

Maki Itoh intrigued AEW fans with her cute as a button face and filthy mouth. With middle fingers raised, Maji Itoh made fans in America want for more, especially if she was able to transform them into one of her many simps.

While speaking with Fightful through a translator, Maki Itoh explained that she likes to create “artificial scarcity.” That way, her appearances are more special. She said that “if she appears too often, the magic of Maki Itoh is gone.”

Maki Itoh went on to say that she prefers one or two-week tours of the United States. This will allow her to accept a booking with AEW for a few television spots. She also gets to appear for companies like Prestige Wrestling and GCW. She wants to go to places “the American audience [can] truly appreciate her.”

We’ll have to see if Maji Itoh appears for AEW once again. It seems that she has some simps in the AEW fan base, but this was apparently not enough to make Tony Khan call Maki Itoh up for a return to the company. Hopefully, that will happen soon enough, because she certainly deserves another shot.

AEW’s Women’s Division is still a work in progress, with big names like Saraya and Taya Valkyrie joining in recent memory. Only time will tell who comes aboard next, and whether Maki Itoh will be in the mix.
