Challenge Laid Down For WWE SmackDown This Week

WWE is well on their way to WrestleMania, and now we have a new challenge laid down for SmackDown this week. There is a lot going on other than Roman Reigns’ Bloodline saga, and Rick Boogs wants in on the action.

Rick Boogs is known for his impressive guitar skills and energetic performances. His unique style and personality have quickly made him a fan favorite in the world of professional wrestling. Rick Boogs had a decent run on the main roster until his knee popped out last year at WrestleMania during a tag-team match against the Usos. Recently, Mr. Boogs has challenged a former King of the Ring winner.

Since returning after a 9-month hiatus in January, Rick Boogs has been aligned with his fellow musician Elias. WWE is possibly planning to pair them as a full-time tag team down the line. Both players have a lot a common, and their pairing would be a great addition to WWE’s Tag-team division.

Byron Saxton spoke with Rick Boogs and Elias on the WWE Raw Talk show that aired after the WWE Monday Night Raw broadcast of March 20th to find out what Rick had taken away from seeing Elias’s loss to Bronson Reed on March 13th.

Rick Boogs claimed that despite “The Drifter” failing, he had still learned a lot. Elias was attempting to convince Boogs that connecting with the WWE Universe is more important than winning or losing when Baron Corbin entered the scene and advised Boogs to forget the loser (Elias) and follow Baron Corbin’s example instead.

When the former WWE King of the Ring referred to Elias as a loser, Rick Boogs took offense and challenged “Baron C” to square off against “Ricky B” the following week. Corbin claimed that Rick Boogs will come to regret his challenge.

Ever since the JBL walked away from managing Baron Corbin, the former United States Champion has been acting miserable after multiple televised losses and now aspires to shut his doubters at the expense of Rick Boogs. The two superstars will clash at the final RAW before Mania with Elias supposedly at the ringside. Here is the updated card for RAW on March 27th, 2023.
