Bray Wyatt returned to WWE at Extreme Rules, and he was able to have a program with LA Knight without destroying his character. Then Bray Wyatt disappeared, and he hasn’t been seen for over a week. That brought a lot of questions to the table.

During Sunday Night’s Main Event, Dave Meltzer opened up about Bray Wyatt’s current status. He made it clear that Bray Wyatt is dealing with an illness, and he is not hurt or has any heat in WWE. That being said, the company hasn’t promoted his WrestleMania match against Bobby Lashley.

“He’s ill. He was supposed to be at the show Friday and he was not so he’s still ill. They did do a quick tease of him so he’s not gone from the company. When I asked this week if he was going to be wrestling Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania, I did not get an answer and they did not promote that match on either show at all.”

It was also added that, “I was not given an answer, so my gut is that it’s up in the air. I was not told a no, I was not told a yes. I was just told that he is ill. I guess it’s out of their hands right now. But he’s still with the company. I know there’s people who think that he quit the company but they did do a tease on Friday Night SmackDown show.”

We will have to see what WWE does in this situation. This is not the first time that Bray Wyatt’s status was in question. If you recall his last WrestleMania match against Randy Orton, there was also a chance that he might not have made that match either.

Bray Wyatt is still with the company, and he’s not dealing with any type of behavioral problem at all. We will have to see if he gets better, but right now his WrestleMania match isn’t being promoted by the company, and questions about the status for the showcase of the immortals are being left unanswered.
