Sheamus had a great career in WWE, winning multiple championships during his time in the company. The Celtic Warrior has almost done it all when it comes to being a WWE Superstar. In fact, he had some harsh words for GUNTHER recently.
Last night’s episode of SmackDown delivered on one of the most highly anticipated matches for WrestleMania 39. The episode featured Sheamus taking on Drew McIntyre, with the winner securing a spot to face off against Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER for the Championship at the grandest stage of them all.
The match between Sheamus and McIntyre was a fierce battle, but it ended with a twist as Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser interfered and caused a double disqualification. This set up the much-expected Triple Threat match for WrestleMania, which fans have been buzzing about.
Sheamus wasted no time taking to social media to share the official graphic for the match and share his thoughts on his WrestleMania opponents. In a tweet, he referred to McIntyre as a “backstabber” and the current champion GUNTHER as a “sandbagger.” The harsh words set the tone for what promises to be an intense and thrilling match between the three competitors.
