WWE Booking Superstars To Work Both Nights Of WrestleMania 39

WWE’s biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 39, will be here before we know it. April 1st and 2nd will be popping nights at SoFi Stadium, and fans might be able to expect the unexpected. That being said, some other Superstars might have to pull double duty.

Lita and Becky Lynch really threw a twist on their road to WrestleMania when they captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Those titles are not up for grabs at the show of shows just yet, but they might actually cause the champions to wrestle twice.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are still in line for a WrestleMania Women’s Tag Team Title match. Apparently, the plan is for the champions to work both nights.

There has been no storyline tease for Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler challenging for the women’s tag team titles. Last week the plan was for whomever the champions were to work matches both nights, in a trios match (Bayley & Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai vs. Trish Stratus & Lita & Becky Lynch) and whether it was Sky & Kai or Lita & Lynch, the tag champs would face Rousey & Baszler. This is tough to build up with Rousey having the arm fracture. We haven’t heard an update at press time as to the status of this match.

WrestleMania 39 will be a massive two-night event at SoFi Stadium. It seems that whoever is carrying the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at the time will likely get a paycheck for working both nights of the showcase of the immortals.

It will be very interesting to see how things progress from here. After all, we only have a few short weeks left until the grandest stage of them all lights up with Triple H’s first WrestleMania card as booker.
