AEW was the greener pasture for many pro wrestlers when they opened their doors, but things have changed in a big way over the past few years. Now, it seems that some AEW stars don’t want to stick around for very much longer.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Darby Allin’s promo during Dynamite this week was a shoot. They had all four pillars of AEW, MJF, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and Jungle Boy, all in the ring at the same time to cut a 19-minute long shoot-filled promo segment.

Dave Meltzer noted that Darby Allin’s quips about people complaining in the AEW locker room and wanting to leave the company was true. The thing is that it might not have been a genius idea to shine a light on that during their flagship television show.

“With the whole thing of Darby Allin talking about, ‘All these guys complain, all these guys wanna leave’ and everything like that. Okay, that’s true, but to talk about it on your own television show, basically by doing that, you’re telling people you’re the secondary company.”

“We’ve seen this since May when this really started happening, and it’s done the company no good.”

We will have to see what AEW’s roster looks like in a matter of months. For all we know, it could be a totally different situation in a year’s time, because WWE could also be in the hands of a new owner which would drastically shift the pro wrestling landscape once again.

There are a lot of people apparently complaining about AEW right now. It will be very interesting to see if AEW can keep everyone happy, especially those who could really do a lot of damage if they decided to leave.

What’s your take on AEW’s present locker room situation? Would you want to get out of there too? Sound off in the comments!
