Roxanne Perez successfully defended her NXT Women’s Title against Meiko Satomura at NXT Roadblock, but she collapsed after the match. It was said that she might have to relinquish her title, and a ladder match is now being set up for Stand & Deliver that does not presently include her. There could be a lot more going on with this story.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoked about this situation a bit. He revealed that there is actually something going on with Roxanne Perez, but it isn’t 100% clear how bad the situation is right now.

The reason it’s so vague is because the actual situation is so vague. They actually don’t know exactly what’s going on.

So, until they do, they kinda have to go in there thinking that they might have to strip her of the title. So, there’s a lot of things going on.

Dave Meltzer continued to explain that the situation with Roxanne Perez is “vague.” The wording he used was quite interesting, because it hinted that there could be more to this story.

What I was told was that this is a vague situation in the sense that hopefully there’s nothing wrong, but there might be.

She didn’t actually faint after the match, but that was a cover story for the fact that something may or may not be going on. They don’t know exactly, so they did the Shawn Michaels angle.

It was said that Roxanne Perez’s situation obviously wasn’t bad enough to keep her from that title match, but “this is a cover story for something.” The story is “vague” with Perez at this time. So, we’ll have to wait and see what’s really next in this situation.
