Big E suffered a terrible injury when he didn’t get a full rotation on a release German suplex which broke his neck. He did not require surgery, and remained in great spirits. Now, we have a positive update to share.

ReviewSTL recently spoke to Xavier Woods opened up about how Big E is doing right now. Apparently, he’s traveling more and getting back into the swing of things, especially with WWE’s NIL program.

“We’re together all the time, constantly doing stuff. But E’s doing well. He’s traveling, doing a bunch of stuff. He helps out a lot with the NIL program. They do a lot of college recruiting, so going and doing those because he’s obviously an incredible story coming out from college into WWE… But he’s doing great, he’s in good spirits. He has been for a very long time.”

Big E said that he will have a checkup with his doctor on the one-year anniversary of his injury. Ridge Holland also revealed that he actually received death threats from fans, and that was totally uncalled for.

Big E’s career in the ring might be a bit of a question right now, but it seems that he has found plenty of things to keep himself busy. We can only hope that we see him in the ring again soon.
