The Usos’ storyline with Roman Reigns as part of the Bloodline saga has been nothing short of extraordinary pro wrestling storytelling. This drama continues to unfold every week on the road to WrestleMania, and to say fans are invested would be an understatement. Even Dax Harwood has to admit that the Usos are on top of their game, as much as it pains him to say it.
FTR just returned to AEW, a bit sooner than originally thought. The Top Guys are back and looking to make a bigger name for themselves, but they have a long way to go before reaching that Uce level that Jimmy and Jey Uso established.
During his FTR podcast, Dax Harwood discussed the current tag team landscape in the ever-changing world of pro wrestling. He stated that the Usos are on top of the heap, and that pisses him off to admit it.
“Of course, first on the list has got to be The Usos. Right? They’re probably the most over tag team in the world right now, and I say that with a chip on my shoulder. That pisses me off because I feel like that’s what I think we should be presented and how we should be presented. Like, you could take those guys, singles or tag, and put them in a main event spot right now and no one would bat an eye on it and they could work with anybody.”
FTR vs The Usos would be a huge match, if it ever happens again. It seems that FTR is sticking around AEW, so that match is very far in the future, if it ever happens again.
We will have to see where the tag team rankings fall this time next year, because everything could change in an instant in the pro wrestling landscape. It seems that The Usos are on top right now, and even Dax Harwood had to admit that.
What’s your take on The Usos? Are they the most over tag team in the business? Sound off in the comments!
