WWE’s Hall of Fame is a yearly celebration for those Superstars who became legends, and Vince McMahon decided that they should be Hall of Famers. Triple H is calling the shots this year, and he has a different idea for this year’s class.
The WWE Hall of Fame will go down this year, but they don’t have to sell a ticket for the show. They will tape the ceremony after SmackDown, so fans will get a two-for deal out of the situation. It took them a while to announce any inductions this year, and there is a good reason for that.
Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE is going with a different idea this year. In 2023, they plan to have a much smaller class of Hall of Fame inductees.
We’re told that the working plan was for this year’s class to be “way smaller” than in previous years.
It was also noted that, “The Great Muta was also pitched for this year’s HOF class, before it was later confirmed to us he’d be going in. However, that’s not it. Fightful has learned that as of now, WWE is also planning on inducting Stacy Kiebler, who has been heavily rumored in recent weeks.”
We will have to see who receives a WWE Hall of Fame induction this year. The company has some choices out there, but large induction classes in previous years certainly limited the options.
Who would you induct into the WWE Hall of Fame? Are you okay with a smaller induction class? Sound off in the comments!
