Shawn Michaels has taken to social media to update fans on the health of NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. Following her title defense against Meiko Satomura at NXT Roadblock, Perez collapsed and there has been concern about her health ever since.

In the update, Michaels said that Perez’s health is still in question and it is unclear if she will be able to compete at NXT Stand & Deliver. As a result, Michaels made the decision to announce that the NXT Women’s Title will be contested in a ladder match at the upcoming event.

As of Friday Morning Roxanne Perez was discharged from the hospital. However after numerous tests Roxanne’s health is still in question. With Stand and Deliver in less than three weeks I have the obligation to announce we possibly have to crown a New NXT Women’s Champion.

Starting tonight there will be a series of qualifying matches with the winners advancing to Stand and Deliver to compete to become the NXT Women’s Champion in a Ladder Match.
