Rey Mysterio will receive a well-deserved honor this year as he is inducted into the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame. His name was the first one that WWE announced this year, and the night will be a very special one for Mr. 6-1-9. He will also have a very dear friend around to induct him.

Konnan will be inducting Rey into the Hall of Fame. Rey asked for him and the company approved it. As noted last night, to me it was the only choice.

After his breakout success in WCW, Rey Mysterio signed with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2002, where he would go on to achieve even greater success. He quickly became a staple of the company’s cruiserweight division and won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship on multiple occasions. Although he did have a couple of hiatuses, Rey Mysterio has been active with WWE for the better part of the last two decades.
