The Miz is a versatile WWE Superstar, and the company realizes the kind of star they have on their roster. The dude entered WWE after having an entire career’s worth of screen time on MTV, and then he took over Vince McMahon’s company, fighting an uphill battle the whole way to prove he belonged.
Although he isn’t booked for a match at WrestleMania yet, The Miz is locked in for a very important role. The A-Lister will host the showcase of the immortals this year, and this will be a massive two-night event at SoFi Stadium.
Ringside News exclusively reported in January that the company has their WrestleMania card locked in. Triple H also knows which matches will go on each night, but he has not relayed that information to the creative team yet.
According to Fightful Select’s paywall, WWE decided on The Miz’s WrestleMania role “several months” ago. This would fall in line with our exclusive coverage, and it also might predate our report by a tad as well.
The Miz hosting WrestleMania has been the plan for “several months,” we’re told.
We will have to see how WWE uses The Miz at WrestleMania 39. As host, he might be able to come out and take part in any number of WrestleMania moments. He is also a WWE Superstar, so he can certainly take a bump if the segment calls for it.
The Miz certainly adds more excitement to everything he does, as his charisma is undeniable. Only time will tell how his WrestleMania 39 plans pan out, but he will 100% be a part of things. WWE also might have wanted to lock him into a spot, because he is perfect for the role they have in mind.
