WrestleMania usually includes several key events throughout the week. The WWE Hall of Fame provides fans, and the pro wrestling industry, to honor those legends who blazed a trail for everyone working today. This year’s WWE Hall of Fame is a bit of a different situation.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame. Although they have not announced a single inductee yet this year, it was confirmed that WWE has asked people about taking those slots.
By the way, I’m not at liberty to say, but I do know that people are being asked for the Hall of Fame. So, I don’t know why we’re a couple weeks away, and they haven’t announced anyone, but I guess that’s Triple H’s thing to announce everyone in the last week, or something, because we’re in the last two weeks. We’re running low on time and nobody’s been announced.
WWE is taping their 2023 Hall of Fame ceremony after SmackDown, so it’s not like they need names to encourage fans to buy tickets. The assumption is that fans will buy tickets for SmackDown, and then they will stay for the Hall of Fame.
It was later noted that, “I don’t know how many, but I know people have been asked” about accepting WWE Hall of Fame inductions this year. So, the company is still working on things.
Only time will tell who WWE announces for the 2023 Hall of Fame. This is certainly an interesting situation as we get even closer to WrestleMania 39. For more stories like this, and everything else going on in the pro wrestling world, you know that we have you covered here at Ringside News.
