Johnny Gargano never forgot that it was Grayson Waller who put him on the shelf with a brutal attack 15 months ago on NXT 2.0. The Rebel Heart returned with a receipt for the arrogant Aussie at NXT Roadblock this week.

Johnny Gargano made his shocking return to the white and gold brand to take out Grayson Waller. The former NXT Champion was introduced as Waller’s opponent for NXT Stand & Deliver by Shawn Michaels himself.

Grayson Waller took to Twitter after the segment to claim that Gargano made the biggest mistake of his life by returning to NXT to pick a fight with him. The Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge posted a picture from their 2021 meeting as well.
