Ricky Starks has been on a roll since his excellent feud with MJF back in December last year, where he ended up utterly destroying MJF and then laying him out in a promo war. He would lose to MJF at AEW Winter Is Coming, but fans continued to support him after that.
At the AEW Revolution pay-per-view, Ricky Starks squared off against Chris Jericho in a solid match. When all was said and done, it was the former FTW Champion who stood tall.
While speaking during the post-AEW Revolution press conference, Ricky Starks was asked about his future plans now that he defeated Chris Jericho. Starks made it clear he wants to go after a title and even stated that he wants to win all three major AEW singles titles.
I think honestly for me at this point, contending for a championship. I know someone’s gonna ask me, it can be the AEW Championship, TNT, the All-Atlantic, it can be all three. I have already proven I’m a main eventer, I’ve already proven I’m the guy. Why not go for some type of gold now. For me, personally, I’m open to those, Chris was a great cap in my feather but it doesn’t stop there. I honestly think man, I’m ready to carry the whole goddamn thing.
We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Ricky Starks, now that he has finally finished his feud with Chris Jericho. Odds are, fans might get to see him duke it out with MJF sooner rather than later.
