The highly anticipated AEW Revolution event featured a thrilling fatal-four way match for the AEW World Tag Team Champions. The Gunns emerged victorious and successfully defended their titles against formidable opponents including The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens), Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, and Danhausen and Orange Cassidy.

Following their impressive win, The Gunns remained in the ring for a post-match segment with Renee Paquette. However, the atmosphere quickly shifted when FTR’s music played, causing the crowd to erupt in excitement. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler made a surprise return, and both teams engaged in a chaotic brawl.

During the altercation, FTR managed to overpower The Gunns, with Harwood accidentally getting busted open. This unexpected turn of events left the audience on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating what’s in store for these two teams in the future.

Dax Harwood took to Twitter following the conclusion of the pay-per-view and uploaded a photo of himself, showing off the stitches he had done on top of his left eye, where he was busted open. He also included a little caption to sum up the experience.

2 months off. 2 minutes in.

It was previously reported that many in AEW believe that FTR has already signed a long-term deal with the company and that their absence was only temporary and part of a storyline. We’ll have to wait and see what’s next in store for FTR.
