The wrestling world is unpredictable, and you never know when an injury can occur. During a recent crossover show produced by National Wrestling Alliance and AAA, many independent stars perform for the audience. However, the event saw former IMPACT star Daga suffering an injury.
The 34-year-old professional wrestler was recently competing against Tyrus, the NWA World Champion when he hurt his left knee. He did not return after being assisted to the backstage area.
The match was part of the “World is a Vampire” music festival’s joint AAA & NWA event. The news was released by the co-presenter, Lucha Azteca AAA regarding Daga’s injury at the event on Twitter.
“After his match in The World is A Vampire, Daga left injured and is currently in review in Mexico City. The problem was on his left leg at the height of his knee.”
Mas Lucha subsequently revealed on Twitter that Daga can move his leg. This can be seen as good news because it suggests that the injury might not be too severe and would not require Daga to be out for a while.
“There’s movement on his leg & the hope is that the diagnosis is not severe.”
Daga has been an excellent and exciting prospect to watch out for in the business. We’ll have to wait for what is next for him and when will he be healthy to step back inside the squared circle after this injury.
