Cody Rhodes is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in WWE right now. His stock only increased after WrestleMania 38. He had a solid promo segment on Smackdown this week and it seems Rhodes competed in a match after the cameras stopped rolling.

At the start of this week’s SmackDown, The American Nightmare came face-to-face with The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, leading to a heated exchange that took a personal turn.

Despite the tension, the WrestleMania opponents managed to avoid a physical altercation in anticipation of their upcoming match, and the segment concluded with a handshake between the two stars.

After Friday Night Smackdown went off the air, Cody Rhodes, who has been undefeated since his return last year, squared off against Finn Balor in a singles match.

Rhodes’ star shone bright as he emerged victorious over the Judgement Day Leader in their match. After the bout, Rhodes delivered a fiery promo, expressing his aspiration to become the Undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania.
