Wardlow quickly emerged as a popular name in All Elite Wrestling. He held the TNT Championship for an extended period and gained a large fan base in a short amount of time. He came back recently after being away from AEW television for a while and sported a new short-haired look. It seems Wardlow has no intention of changing that look now.
Wardlow has beaten numerous top stars in AEW so far. Due to his near-limitless potential, many believe that he is certainly destined for greatness. This especially means becoming a big deal in the pro wrestling world.
During the December 28th episode of AEW Dynamite, Wardlow suffered a double blow. Not only did he fail to reclaim the AEW TNT Championship from Samoa Joe, but he also lost a significant part of his hair.
Samoa Joe made sure to add insult to injury by cutting off Wardlow’s ponytail after the match. The humiliated wrestler was absent from television for a little over a month before making his return on the February 1st episode of AEW Dynamite. Wardlow came back with a bang, saving Darby Allin from Samoa Joe’s brutal attack.
While speaking to Busted Open Radio about his short hair, Wardlow talked about his current short-haired look. Mr. Mayhem revealed that while initially, he wanted to grow out his hair again, he decided to keep the short look.
Initially, I thought I was going to (grow it back), but it might have been a little blessing in disguise because it’s been quite the hit with everyone. I’m enjoying it, everyone else seems to like it. I think I’m going to keep the short hair for a while. Eventually, yes, I will grow it all out, but for now I’m going to rock the short hair for a little bit.”
Wardlow is set to challenge Samoa Joe for the TNT Championship at AEW Revolution. We will have to wait and see whether he will be able to beat Joe for the title and put an end to their feud.
Wardlow has established himself as a dominant force in the AEW roster, gaining a large fan base with his impressive skills and intimidating presence. Despite suffering a setback in his recent match against Samoa Joe, Wardlow has bounced back and is set to challenge Joe once again for the TNT Championship at AEW Revolution. His new short-haired look has been well-received by fans, and it seems he has no plans to change it anytime soon. With his potential and talent, it’s clear that Wardlow is destined for greatness in the world of pro wrestling.
