WWE has a ton of Superstars in NXT who could make their way to the main roster and do great things. Sadly, injuries are always a risk in the situation, and one storyline injury was actually legit.
Wendy Choo is undoubtedly one of the standouts from the NXT women’s division, ever since the brand went through a change back in 2021. She was also viciously attacked on this week’s NXT and it seems this is because Choo is legitimately injured.
During this week’s episode of WWE NXT, McKenzie Mitchell caught up with Nathan Frazer backstage for an interview following his surprise return from injury. However, as the show’s opening contest between Frazer and Wes Lee was underway, an unexpected incident occurred.
The NXT doctor was just about to perform a routine check on Frazer when news arrived that Wendy Choo had been injured in the parking lot. In response, Mitchell directed the WWE camera operator to follow the doctor as he rushed to assist Choo.
According to Bryan Alvarez via Wrestling Headlines, Wendy Choo was written off NXT television as she is out of action due to a legitimate injury. No specific details about the injury are known, but it was noted that the injury is not too serious.
Choo’s most recent wrestling appearance was on February 13th at the WWE Main Event tapings, where she emerged victorious in a match against Dana Brooke prior to RAW in Brooklyn. However, it is unclear whether her injury occurred during training or at a different time, and no further information has been released at this time.
