Roman Reigns has been unstoppable since his return back in 2020, ascending to the position of the Undisputed Universal Champion. The Head Of The Table has demolished every single foe who has stood before him over the course of almost three years. Reigns also does not necessarily like everyone in pro wrestling and that includes CM Punk.

Reigns and Punk crossed paths multiple times during 2013 and 2014, but their one-on-one encounters were limited to a single match in January 2014. On that occasion, the leader of The Bloodline emerged victorious over The Best in the World on Monday Night RAW.

Back in 2021, Roman Reigns brutally burned CM Punk as he stated that Punk lost a step. Many fans felt Reigns was wrong in that assessment but it seems others agree with Roman Reigns.

While speaking with the Load Management podcast, Roman Reigns talked about his relationship with Punk, revealing that he personally does not like The Second City Saint.

“If you’ve watched wrestling for the past 10 to 15 years and you love it and it’s like within your blood, then you probably have some kind of feelings about that guy. I know I do, you know. Just by doing one of these things he made my job a lot harder over, you know, 5-10 years ago. But if it’s something that the fans can get behind and that it can really make them, you know, sink their teeth into the product and really, you know, dive into the creative with us, I’m willing to do it.

I don’t like the guy. I mean I don’t know many people that do but I’m willing to put business first and make really good content if that’s the case. But yeah, he probably has to be slapped around a few times in order to get his mind right.”

Roman Reigns will be defending his Undisputed Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39. We will have to wait and see whether Roman Reigns will be able to retain his titles.
