FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) saw their stocks jump to new heights when they signed with AEW after an underwhelming main roster run in WWE. Tony Khan booked the duo to win the AEW and ROH world tag team titles. In addition, the duo are a former AAA and IWGP Tag Team Champions.

FTR last appeared on AEW in a tag team match against The Gunns on the December 21, 2022, episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite. The duo took a break from wrestling after they lost the IWGP World Tag Team Championship to Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI) at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4, 2023.

FTR were absent from the Casino Tag Team Battle Royale on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. The match featured Lucha Brothers, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta, Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin), RUSH and Perro Peligroso, The Butcher and The Blade, Aussie Open, 2point0, The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett), Dark Order (John Silver & Alex Reynolds), and Orange Cassidy and Danhausen.

Orange Cassidy and Danhausen won the battle royale after they eliminated The Butcher and The Blade, punching their ticket to the fatal-four way tag team title match this Sunday at AEW Revolution Cash. Wheeler took to Twitter after the match to ask fans if they miss FTR.

Y’all miss us or something?

Dax Harwood doesn’t think AEW is happy with FTR after the company snubbed them from a congratulatory message. It remains to be seen if FTR will make their return to AEW television in the foreseeable future. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more.
