WWE has an extremely talented roster in NXT waiting for main roster call-up. It appears that the company has finally identified a veteran NXT performer to join the SmackDown women’s division.
WWE talent and crew were at the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford, IL, for a live event last night. The house show featured a solid line-up as both the SmackDown Women’s Championship and the United States Championship were on the line.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair successfully defended her title in a fatal four-way match involving Liv Morgan, Sonya Deville and former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Zoey Stark.
It appears that WWE officials are quite high on Zoey Stark as they have been putting her through dark matches and main roster house shows as of late. Stark has already excelled in her role in NXT. That said, main roster is an different animal and WWE wants to test the NXT veteran before they can make a final decision.
Zoey Stark isn’t the only NXT talent who has received a main roster look in recent memory. Pretty Deadly are also getting main roster looks, and we’ve previously reported that Cameron Grimes is in limbo right now.
It remains to be seen if Zoey Stark will join the main roster in the foreseeable future. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more from the world of pro wrestling.
