There have been a lot of members of the legendary Anoa’i family who have dominated inside the squared circle for generations. The modern era is ruled by Roman Reigns and his cousins, The Usos and Solo Sikoa, collectively known as the Bloodline. However, The Rock’s cousin, also a part of the family, has expressed her desire to join those ranks. That member is the female WWE superstar, Tamina.
The daughter of Jimmy Snuka, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, Tamina made her WWE debut in 2010. At the time, she was regarded as one of the most powerful women in the organization. Many of her supporters were led to believe that she would easily ascend to the top of the women’s division because of her divisive size. That, however, did not take place.
Tamina debuted on the main roster of the Stamford-based business in 2010. Since then, she has participated actively in both SmackDown and Monday Night RAW. The 45-year-old is a nine-time 24/7 Champion and a former Women’s Tag Team Champion.
Furthermore, Tamina has been connected to joining The Bloodline for the past two years due to the fact that she is also The Usos’ and Roman Reigns’ cousin. In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, the former Women’s Tag Team Champion discussed the prospect of joining the dominant group.
“I feel like everybody wants to be part of The Bloodline. So, I’d be stupid if I was like, ‘no, I don’t wanna be Blood…’ Yeah, I wanna be part of The Bloodline [laughs]. It’s like yeah of course everybody says but again you don’t ever know. You know how it is. WWE will hit you with a surprise from the side of the face, you don’t even know where that’s coming from.”
Tamina, meanwhile, expressed her pride in The Bloodline and mentioned how each member of the gang is succeeding in their current storyline.
“I’m proud of that Bloodline, and then you go and see everything like with Solo [Sikoa], this boy is doing his own thing. They are all thriving bro in that way. Because, they are finding each of who they are, each person is thriving in that way. They each have something to prove, that’s what’s funny about it. With this Bloodline, you had Sami Zayn come in. That’s a whole other thing. You got Sami Uso in there, so you had a whole thing, it’s a family bond. But man, the battles, it’s that what’s gonna come next? What’s gonna come next with this Bloodline? You never know because they’re gonna hit you with something new every time.”
On the August 22nd, 2022 episode of Monday Night RAW, Tamina, and Dana Brooke competed in a Fatal 4-Way Match for a second chance to compete in the Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament. We will have to wait and see if WWE decides to bring her back to television and consider the idea of her joining the Bloodline.
