WWE Hall Of Famer Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts remains one of the most respected pro wrestling legends of all time. His ability to cut eerie promos continues to mesmerize fans even now. Fans have been concerned about his health for a long time and now it seems Roberts had some positive news to share regarding his health.
Jake Roberts’ health is always something fans worry about and there is a good reason for that. Back in 2020, the WWE Hall Of Famer had to pull out of an AEW show due to Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
Jake Roberts even gave an update on his health ahead of his third hip surgery. In fact, his Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and emphysema required him to use an oxygen tank for over a year.
While speaking with the New York Post, Jake Roberts talked about his current health condition. The WWE Hall of Famer confirmed that he now only uses the oxygen tank at night.
“It’s doesn’t get any better, it really doesn’t. You can’t imagine how it feels to walk out and all of sudden they’re chanting your name in unison. It’s overwhelming. “This last year my lungs got in pretty rough shape, I had to go on oxygen. I went on oxygen for nearly a year and a half. Now I’m off of it.
The only time I use it is at night whenever I hook it up to my CPAP machine which is a good thing. It helps me heal at night. “I feel pretty good. I’m going to the gym five, six days a week. I’m stretching, I’m riding the bike for 45 minutes a day. “When you’re my age, going through protocol is never something you’re completely sure about because I got bits and pieces that have taken a lot of beatings and parts of me that just don’t work the way they used to. “So being cleared by AEW is a pat on the back that all’s well.”
We will have to wait and see when the WWE Hall of Famer will be returning to AEW television. We also hope Jake Roberts makes a speedy recovery, as fans want to see him back as soon as possible.
