Cody Rhodes is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in WWE right now. His stock only increased after WrestleMania 38. Before returning to WWE, he made waves in many companies including NJPW, where Rhodes was also the leader of The Bullet Club. It seems he had a Bullet Club reunion during a recent WWE live event.
WWE live events are usually home to memorable reunions from time to tie. Cody Rhodes himself created a memorable moment during WWE’s Road to WrestleMania Supershow at the State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois.
Since his triumphant return to WrestleMania last year, Cody Rhodes has established himself as the premier babyface in the company. At a recent live event, Rhodes teamed up with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson from The O.C. to face off against The Judgment Day.
Following the babyface team’s victory, Cody Rhodes spoke to the live audience and expressed his desire to join The Club, considering that he, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson had all been members of the Bullet Club in the past. As a nod to the iconic Japanese stable, the trio even threw up The Bullet Club’s signature ‘Too Sweet’ hand gesture.
The American Nightmare is set to face off against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Title at WrestleMania 39, so we’ll have to see how that match will turn out.
