IMPACT Wrestling announced the date and location for Rebellion 2023 during Hard to Kill back in January 2023. Tonight, Scott D’Amore and his team officially booked the first match of their next big pay-per-view event.

IMPACT Wrestling just announced that Josh Alexander will defend his IMPACT World Championship against number one contender Steve Maclin at Rebellion on April 16th in Toronto, Canada.

Maclin punched his ticket to Rebellion by winning a fatal four-way number one contender’s match at No Surrender a few hours ago. The Trademark bested Brian Myers, Heath and PCO to win the big match.

Josh Alexander, on the other hand, successfully defended his IMPACT World Championship against Rich Swann in the main event of No Surrender. The Walking Weapon reversed a cutter into a piledriver, followed by a C4 Spike for the win.
