Ric Flair’s career has spanned an astounding five decades, from his first match in professional wrestling in 1972 until his final one in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 31, 2022. He made a name for himself during this time by becoming a dominant force and reigning as a 16-time World Champion. Furthermore, The Nature Boy would be open to taking up the role of a wrestling manager.

Ric Flair, a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and one of the most illustrious pro wrestlers of all time, is well aware of his value. One fan asked Flair on the most recent episode of the “To Be The Man” podcast if he would be interested in working as a manager or backstage producer in WWE, AEW, or Impact Wrestling if given the chance.

“Absolutely for AEW or WWE, but they won’t,”

The Nature Boy laughed while answering the question. Furthermore, he asked his co-host and son-in-law Conrad Thompson if he wanted the truth when he pressed Flair for an explanation.

“Because I’m too good at what I do, even at my age. I’m not talking about being a producer, not being a writer. I don’t mean that. I’m talking about (if) they give me a microphone, and they let me have at it. I mean, you tell me.”

The 16-time World Champion then demonstrated to the YouTube audience that he has made $700,000 on Cameo. As he displayed his phone screen for the crowd to see, he stated that it was just because of talking for two minutes.

Last year, Ric Flair stated that he wished to manage his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo for AEW. But AEW President Tony Khan declined to appoint Flair to the job. So we will have to wait and see if Flair does get an offer extended to manage a top WWE or AEW star in the future.
