One of the most popular professional wrestlers in the current era of professional wrestling is unquestionably CM Punk. He first gained notoriety in ROH before rising to fame in WWE. Last year, he eventually joined AEW but has been absent from television programming ever since the famous AEW All Out fiasco that went down. However, his close friend Dax Harwood recently stated that Punk would still love to be in wrestling.
Since the All Out backstage incident, there has been much discussion in the wrestling world about whether CM Punk will return to the ring. Dax Harwood made it apparent during the most recent episode of “FTR with Dax Harwood” podcast that Punk would like to work in professional wrestling.
“CM Punk has a lot to offer to the world of professional wrestling.”
Dax Harwood stated that “CM Punk likes professional wrestling” in reference to the fact that Punk was present at the NJPW Battle In The Valley event. Punk watched the action that made the wrestling community talk about him once more while sitting next to Lars Frederiksen of Rancid.
CM Punk is currently struggling with an injury and the fallout from the historic All Out media scrum. Despite so much going on, the FTR member thinks Punk is still capable of offering more to the business.
CM Punk’s comments in the media scrum and the physical altercation backstage have not resulted in a suspension or punishment. Furthermore, his name has also not been mentioned on television.
Other than applauding the work he has previously accomplished, Tony Khan has a tendency to avoid providing specific answers about CM Punk’s future. Punk is soon to receive a medical clearance and that will further reveal his future plans for the future.
