Beth Phoenix returned to the ring for a short program through Elimination Chamber, where she teamed with Edge to take on Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley. Now fans are waiting for the Glamazon’s return, and they just might see her at WrestleMania.
Although Beth Phoenix hasn’t been on television since Elimination Chamber, Edge and Finn Balor’s feud did continue. The current expectation is that we will see Edge’s Brood version take on Balor’s Demon King in a Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania 39.
The WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke to Busted Open Radio, where she discussed her WrestleMania status. She will be around for the show of shows, because she really enjoys the show. Only time will tell if she gets involved.
“I’ll be at WrestleMania. I’m sure Adam [Edge] will be factored and featured in. I’ll be there to enjoy. Whatever it is, I can say with all my heart, he and I don’t look too far ahead. We don’t have any plans, ‘this is going to be the retirement.’ We’re just taking it one day at a time.
When these little opportunities pop up, we’re just like, ‘hell yeah.’ We don’t know what tomorrow brings and our kids are old enough now that they can process mom and dad squeezing this for every last drop. That’s fun. It’s been really fun to do this as a family. They’re in elementary school, so the kids know what our jobs are and they’re watching the match.”
We’ll have to see if Beth Phoenix makes her way back to television on the road to WrestleMania. She could very well have unfinished business with Rhea Ripley. Then again, The Nightmare also has her WrestleMania ticket already punched after winning the 2023 Royal Rumble match.
