Vince McMahon retired from WWE and handed creative power to his son-in-law. Now, a few people think Triple H is letting Vince book again. Few fans want to see Brock Lesnar and Omos at WrestleMania, and this only added to the fire of speculation that Vince McMahon is back with WWE in a creative capacity.
Sean Sapp of Fightful Select noted on his new update that a WWE talent reached out and said Vince is involved with the creative team once again. This came from someone on the roster, and it wasn’t confirmed.
This week, a WWE talent reached out and told me they believed Vince McMahon was back in creative. I couldn’t get it confirmed at all.
It was thought that there is “another power struggle” happening regarding Vince helping with creative. Sean Sapp later tweeted out to clarify this rumor after he heard back from some sources within WWE.
Sources within WWE that would be in the position to know tell Fightful Select that these fears are unfounded. We couldn’t get any confirmations on those talent’s fears, as noted in the original post. HHH has been open that Vince has input, and is been adamant to talent that HHH has final say.
These rumors will likely keep going, but there is no internal indication that anyone but Triple H is calling the creative shots.
We will have to see how things progress on the road to WrestleMania. If anything, these new rumors will only add to the every-present drama surrounding WWE programming.
