One of the most adored female WWE Superstars in the organization’s history is unquestionably Nikki Bella. In fact, many people view her as one of the pioneers of WWE’s Women’s Revolution. The WWE Hall of Famer made the decision to leave WWE in order to devote more time to her family. But it seems that she misses wrestling a lot and wishes to come back to it.
Nikki Bella last participated in the women’s Royal Rumble match in 2022. Before then, the former WWE Divas Champion hadn’t entered the ring since she made a failed bid for Ronda Rousey’s “Raw” Women’s Championship at a house show in Rome, Italy, in 2018. Bella now concentrates on her family, her reality series “Nikki Bella Says I Do,” and a number of business endeavors.
Despite her success across every other venture, Nikki Bella still misses her wrestling days a lot. She recently elaborated on the same, as well as her desire to be back in WWE on “The Sessions with Renée Paquette” podcast.
“I miss it a lot. Every time I go do cardio, and I put on my music, I’m thinking storylines and cutting promos … I miss it. I miss it so much. I watch every now and then, and it’s only the women’s stuff. But, it’s like, I’ll watch certain matches, and I’m like, ‘Oh. That’d be so fun to be a part of.’ … But yeah, I wish I could be back [in WWE]. I would love to go back to do things, but it’s just different when you’re a mom.”
When Nikki Bella was promoted for the “Raw is XXX” show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, last month, she almost joined WWE again. The WWE Hall of Famer later explained that she was unable to attend the show because of other media obligations.
Notably, after “Raw’s” 30th-anniversary show, Nikki Bella and her sister Brie blasted WWE on social media for the absence of female stars, particularly from WWE’s Women’s Revolution. Furthermore, they also said the business was picky about the legends they invited in.
It seems unlikely that we would see Nikki and Brie Bella back in WWE anytime soon, especially after putting out those comments. We will have to wait and see what the future holds for the former WWE Divas champion in regard to her wrestling aspirations.
