At WWE Elimination Chamber, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley put their trilogy to rest. The All Mighty picked up the win via disqualification after The Beast Incarnate neutralized him with a low blow. While fans weren’t too delighted with the finish, the audience was more than happy with the havoc Lesnar wreaked after the match.

This week on Monday Night RAW, Omos challenged Brock Lesnar to a match at WrestleMania 39. The Nigerian Giant previously lost to Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel, but it appears that he is more than ready to take on The Conqueror himself.

The RAW segment came as a major curveball for fans who have been rooting for Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther at WrestleMania 39. While nothing is set in stone yet, it’s likely that Omos would be Lesnar’s opponent for ‘Mania this year considering WWE wouldn’t let any Superstar call some fellow wrestler out on live television unless those plans have been approved in the first place.

Despite this, reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther is still rallying for his dream match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39. The Ring General recently recalled his encounter with The Beast during the Royal Rumble match on “After The Bell” podcast.

“So I think that little moment I had with him there, that was all I needed right now, because that was just the real life confirmation, if that makes sense, that people are up for this. People portrayed me as like some sort of end boss character sometimes, and if I have an end boss, I think, Brock is the one.”

Gunther made history at the 2023 Royal Rumble by breaking Rey Mysterio’s record and lasting for almost 72 minutes in the ring. He had a standoff with Brock Lesnar and eliminated both Sheamus and Drew McIntyre at the same time.

It remains to be seen what plans WWE has in store for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39. In case Omos is indeed in line to feud with The Beast next, then fans will have to wait at least until SummerSlam to witness Lesnar vs. Gunther.
