Adam Page has established himself as a cornerstone of AEW’s television programming since he was one of the first talents to sign with the company in 2019. He has earned a loyal fan base due to his relatable and compelling character work, which sets him apart as a fan-favorite. That being said, it seems Adam Page has a special autograph for fans who harass him.
The recurring issue of fans congregating at airports to meet WWE Superstars has caused problems for several of them. While chance encounters are usually appreciated, a certain group of individuals now actively plan to be at the airport with an abundance of WWE merchandise, in hopes of obtaining autographs from the stars. These items are later sold on eBay for a profit, causing frustration and annoyance for the wrestlers.
Recently, a video of an unmasked Rey Mysterio found its way to social media. In the clip, Rey is seen rejecting a fan’s request for autograph at an airport. Of course, this fan was obviously trying to sell Mysterio’s autograph for a profit.
While speaking in a virtual signing for Highspots, Adam Page revealed that he has a special autograph for fans who harass him, explaining what he does.
“I’ll tell you a little secret — if you ever buy one that doesn’t have the Hangman underneath, it’s because someone harassed me in the hotel lobby and I give them the halfway, house show signature.
“Don’t come in my hotel lobby. That’s my front door, you know what I mean? Leave me alone.”
Zelina Vega also had a terrible experience with fans at an airport. Wrestlers are not obliged to entertain fan requests, and it entirely depends on the wrestler in question whether they want to sign anything.
