Sami Zayn Had A Lot More To Say During Montreal SmackDown Promo

Sami Zayn got a hero’s welcome when he showed up for a live promo in his hometown in Montreal this past week on WWE SmackDown. The former Honorary Uce brought back his “Worlds Apart” theme for his hometown crowd this past Friday.

Sami Zayn was visibly nervous backstage before his SmackDown promo. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion accounted for the crowd reaction and let the segment breathe.

Sami reflected on the Montreal promo during a press conference after the Elimination Chamber premium live event. The former Sami revealed he had a lot more to say during the promo, but decided to adapt to the situation.

“Well, look I had a bunch of stuff I wanted to say but then you also have to assess the situation you’re in and adapt. They were giving me a lot and I’m not about to stop if I’m doing that, right? Cause that’ll be a strange choice… as a performer. Let’s just pause on that.”
