Sami Zayn received the pop of the night, as expected, when he made his way to the ring for the main event match at Elimination Chamber. He had the entire city of Montreal behind him, but he still needed to topple Roman Reigns.

Massive “f*ck you Roman” cants filled the arena before the match even started. The crowd was on fire all night, but they were especially invested in the main event match.
The crowd was insane throughout this entire match. They broke into a frenzy near the end after Sami Zayn nailed a Superman punch and Helluva kick for a very close two count. The match carried on and the referee was taken out just before Zayn hit a Helluva Kick that would have won him the match.
Then Jimmy Uso, who many thought wouldn’t be there, ran down and nailed Sami Zayn with a Superkick and an Uso splash, but Zayn kicked out after a new referee ran down. The second official was eventually taken out as well.
Then Paul Heyman gave Roman Reigns a steel chair, but Jey Uso showed up in the ring. Roman handed the chair to Jey Uso, and they teased Uso hitting Roman with the chair, but in the end, Jey didn’t, and Sami accidentally speared Jey Uso.
Roman Reigns then destroyed Sami Zayn with multiple chair shots and a spear for the win. This is how the match ended, and the Montreal crowd wasn’t happy about it. After the match was over, Kevin Owens ran down for the save, and he helped Sami Zayn nail Roman Reigs with a Helluva Kick to end the night on a bit of a happier note.
