Richard Holliday is one of the biggest stars on the MLW roster. The self-proclaimed Most Marketable Wrestler is a veteran in the indies whose accolades include the IWA World Heavyweight, MLW World Tag Team (with MJF), and IWA Caribbean Heavyweight Championships. After being diagnosed with cancer, it looks like things are looking up for Holliday now that he is done with his treatments.
Richard Holliday received devastating news last September when he was diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. Ringside News reported back in December that Holliday was undergoing chemotherapy. After a long battle with cancer, it looks like Holliday is on the road to recovery.
Taking to Instagram, Holliday posted a video marking the end of his treatment. The video saw Holliday sound a gong to celebrate the end of his treatment.
Richard Holliday acknowledged the support his fans provided through a very trying time. He then mentioned that he is now in the recovery stage.
Yesterday I finished my treatment. Your outreach and support has guided me through this process. Time to recover. 💪🏼
It remains to be seen when Richard Holliday will make his way back to the ring. Until then, we at Ringside News wish the Most Marketable wrestler a speedy recovery. For more updates, stay tuned to Ringside News.
