Beth Phoenix was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class Of 2017. Her induction made her the quickest female to be inducted after her retirement from wrestling. After hanging up her boots, Phoenix switched to commentary and worked as a full-time NXT commentator from 2017 to 2021. Now she is back for a short stint in WWE, but she has a unique roster listing.

Beth Phoenix returned at the 2023 Royal Rumble, spearing Rhea Ripley before walking off with Edge. She then appeared on the following RAW to do the same when The Judgement Day attempted to assist Finn Bálor in his match against Cody Rhodes.

On February 6th, 2023, Beth Phoenix and Edge challenged Rhea Ripley and Finn Bálor to a mixed tag team match at the Elimination Chamber premium live event. The match was reportedly planned months ago in November.

Fightful Select reports that despite her return to competition, WWE hasn’t assigned Beth Phoenix to either RAW or SmackDown.

Throughout her career, Beth Phoenix has achieved tremendous success in WWE, where she was a three-time WWE Women’s Champion. She also won the WWE Divas Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Phoenix is known for her unique high-flying style, which earned her the nickname “The Glamazon.”

It remains to be seen what plans WWE has in store for Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania 39. While it’s likely for Phoenix to wrestle at WrestleMania, the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view might be Beth’s final match before fans
