X-Pac is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world his days of competing inside the squared circle are far behind him. He is now focused on sharing his thoughts regarding what goes on in the pro resulting business right now. He also recalled wanting to end his life in the past.

X-Pac made a name for himself as the 1-2-3 Kid in WWE before eventually going by his real name Sean Waltman in WCW, where he was part of the nWo. He remains one of the most influential pro wrestlers of all time.

That being said, X-Pac had faced his own share of personal demons, which affected him for several years. He was also at a very dark point in his life once, where X-Pac almost lost hope.

While speaking with the New York Post to mark this Sunday’s edition of ‘Biography: WWE Legends’, which focuses on the nWo, X-Pac recalled wanting to hang himself in Mexico.

Whenever I thought I finally hit bottom, or other people thought that, I would always prove myself and others wrong. I’d hit another bottom. It’s just one of those things where for me where for the longest time I wanted to want to be better. I just felt like, ‘What’s wrong with me for not actually being able to do this?’

It just gradually happened for me. I can’t answer what rock bottom was. Because you would think hanging myself from the roof of my apartment in Mexico, or other really bad things, would be the thing that would do it — and they weren’t. I made progress but I would fall again.

Finally I just got around the right people, and the right resources, and I’m just really fortunate to have a lot of great people that didn’t give up on me. Or even that came into my life in recent years that felt like taking a chance on me.

We will have to wait and see when X-Pac will be able to make his return to the squared circle, as it has been a while since he last competed. Regardless, X-Pac brought himself out of the bottomless pit and we commend him on his mental fortitude.
